Getting rid of long hair! New ideas?

Hello! I am looking for some advice in regards to a big haircut change. I have had long hair for quite a long time now, and am looking for something much shorter and less time-consuming in regards to care. Here is a photo of myself. What do you guys think? I'm not a fan of gel, so something that doesn't need much of that would be preferable. Other than that I am open to anything. Thanks!

I feel comfortable in short hairstyles.  I liked the first one. Even the haircuts in men's short haircuts gallary 1 are good.
