Hair advice

Hi there,
so here's the thing. I have been wearing the same haircut for like 5 years or so, and i would love to change it, but i don't know what to do. I'm 18 years old, 1.84m tall and i'm a little overweight. My hair is thick and slightly wavy. I prefer my cut to be short, but i want something different. I have no idea where to start from. Thanks for your help
